Deck Club: Supermodernism Shutdown

The inaugural Deck Club starts with a classic power house of a corp deck: Supermodernism

The idea of Deck Club is to get people playing classic decks (like a book club might get people to read classic books). I would like you to build the below deck and give it a few games worth of your time. Maybe you're a seasoned Supermodernism pro or maybe this is the first time you have heard about it. Either way we would love to hear about your experiences:
  • Is this deck still viable?
  • What did you like/dislike about it?
  • What tweaks did you make?
  • Did it make a particularly memorable game?
  • Or anything else you would like to share...
Supermodernism was popularised by Martin Presley almost a year ago. It scores agendas fast but it is also ready with a Scorched Earth or two for a runner who is unlucky enough to take a tag. David Sutcliffe does a wonderful write up of his experiences with a Supermodernism v.2 variant and below is that very deck. Have a go with it and let us know what you think via the electronic mails: runlastclick[at]gmail.com

Data Raven is excellent in Weyland. Grim will be replaced by Taurus as soon as Upstalk appears. I'm enjoying punitive as an alternative card to power shutdown at the moment. That could swap a bit. End of game scoring can be an issue, particularly if the runner is rich and has full breakers.
